Car Talk: Bugatti 16.4 Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse
Bugatti officially unveiled its beast of a vehicle in the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. The 16-cylinder monster was shown off at the recent Geneva Motor Show and now the automobile maker has released some official images and information. This version of the Veyron has some crazy numbers attached to it such a motor that pumps out 1,200 horsepower and a top speed of 255mph. With all of that, this car can be expected to hit 0 to 100km/h in about 2.6 seconds. The prices for the car range from $2.29 million to $2.5 million depending on which package you opt for.

Ahead of its Geneva Auto Show debut, Bugatti previews the new Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, which will be one of the most powerful street cars to ever be produced.
“With an increase in power up to 1,200 HP, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse has entered a new dimension of open-top driving. Optically aligned to the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, which holds the current world speed record of 431 km/h, the Vitesse also impresses with its dynamic driving characteristics.
Bugatti’s engineers have developed the current Grand Sport, with its 1,001 HP and 1,250 Nm, into an even more powerful vehicle. The Vitesse’s maximum torque is now an impressive 1,500 Nm. The increased power of the new roadster’s 16-cylinder engine is made possible by the four enlarged turbochargers and intercoolers. The chassis has also been modified to support the power increase.”
